Date Clarification
There has been some confusion regarding the dates of the 2009 State Championships. Below is a letter from the Boy's State Director referring to the dates of the competition.

Hello Everyone,

I have received numerous inquiries and want to make sure everyone is on the same page.  This last summer/fall I published a meet calendar which had Regional Championships on April 10 – 12.  This was the date on the Oregon State Web site as well.  Based on this information we sought after a bid for State Championships on March 20 – 22.  However, Dave Klein our Regional Chairmen helped correct most of us State Chairs that immediately following Regionals there was a discovery that we needed to move Regionals up one Weekend to April 3 – 5.  Due to the requirement that there be at least 3 weeks between State and Regionals(in many ways to help secure travel arrangements) we needed to move State up one weekend as well to March 13 – 15.

I believe I emailed this out this fall, but have not checked to be sure.  I have tried to explain the change to as many groups as possible.  I know the meet calendar on the Regional Page is incorrect.  I apologize for any inconvenience this causes, but overall it is a change designed to make sure parents can secure the cheapest airfare possible.
