AGC Claims 4 State Team Titles
The Optional Girls
and the entire boys teams competed in
their state meets in March. The teams
did an incredible job coming home with 4
state team titles. The boys had their
state meet first and won level 4 and
level 7. The level 8-10 team placed
thrid. The boys were highlighted by Alec
Clark, Danny Ayala, Anthony Ambrose,
Carson Diaz, Andrew Turner, and Justin
Bryant all who won their All Around in
their respective levels and age groups.
The Optional Girls had their state meet
next and performed fantastic. The level
7 and level 9 teams came home with state
titles followed closely by the level 8's
who placed second by a small margin. The
girls were highlighted by Kayla Shira,
Jade Cottrell and Amanda West all who
won the All Around in their respective
levels and age groups. The state results

Boys and Girls Win in the Rose City
The entire Auburn
Gymnastics Team traveled to Portland for
the Rose City Invitational. The team is
hitting full stride heading into the
state championships and took home 6
first place trophies. The level 7's
girls were the first to compete on
Saturday morning (the 7's were split
into two sessions, 11 and under and
12+). The younger 7's started the
weekend out awesome placing first as a
team. The older 7's followed that night
and placed second by less than a tenth.
They all did awesome. The level 4 boys
also competed on Friday and also won
first. On Saturday afternoon the level
9/10 girls competed. Great performances
by Latia Smiley and Kayla Shira placed
them first as a team as well. Next to
compete were the level 7/8 Boys and
Level 8 Girls. The level 8 girls
continued their awesome season by
placing first as well and the boys
continued their season by taking home
the gold. Sunday morning brought the
level 5's who are having an awesome
season. This meet was no different as
they also won the meet. Followed by the
level 4's in the afternoon who also
pulled out a win. Congratulations to all
of the team. The boys next meet will be
the State Championships. Good Luck to
all of the boys! Bring home the gold!
Level 8 Girls Place First at Starz and
Stripes
Invitational
The girls team
traveled to Reno to compete in the Starz
and Stripes Invitational. Fighting off
the flu the teams did an awesome job and
had some great performances. Team AGC
was led by the level 8 team who put up
an impressive performance and took home
the first place trophy. The level 7's
and 9's placed second. Congratulations
to the girls.
Boys Win in San Francisco
The Optional Boys
team traveled to San Francisco for the
Gold Country Invitational. The Boys had
a successful competition, leading the
way were the level 7 boys who came home
with a victory. Congratulations to
Anthony Ambrose who won the All Around
in his age group.
Girls Win Northern Star Invitational
The
level 4 and 5 teams competed at Seattle
Gymnastics Academy on February 9th. Both
teams did an awesome job and both teams
came home with a first place trophy.
Coach Sonja (in her first year) is doing
an awesome job with the fours with this
being their second straight win.
Congratulations to Cece Parilla and
Chelsea Post who won the all around in
their age groups. The level 5's
continued their great season in Seattle.
Congratulations to Brooke Johnson and
Jada Czysz-Deboer who won the all around
in their age divisions also.
Level 4 and 7-10 Boys Win John Lanz
Invitational
The
boys team traveled down to Oregon and
competed in the John Lanz Invitational.
The boys team did an awesome job and had
some outstanding performances. The level
4 boys competed first and did a stellar
job and came home with the first place
team trophy. Congratulations to Justin
Bryant who won the All Around
competition. The level 7-10's competing
later in the day continued the success
by the level 4's and also placed first.
Alec Clark and Bryce Simpson placed
first and second in their age division
as did Danny Ayala and Tyler Christopher
(all level 7's). Carson Diaz also put
together a great meet to place first in
the all around for level 8's.

Level 5's Win at Black Hills
The
level 5's took home their first first
place trophy this weekend at Black Hills
Gymnastics. The level 5's had an awesome
competition and came home with the gold.
This meet was the first meet for the
level 4's and they had a great
competition. For some of the 4's this
was their first competition ever. They
placed 5th as a team. The level 6's also
had a good meet and placed second as a
team.
Level 4's and 7's win Washington Open
The level 4
and level 7 Boy's teams won the
Washington Open. Unfortunately
the Optional competition was stopped
short due to USA Gymnastics rules
because it was past 10:00pm. The level 4
team did awesome and placed first with a
163.6 and the level 7 team had great
performances and also took home the
first place trophy with a 154.7.
Congratulations to Aaron Brandner,
Andrew Turner, Justin Bryant, Daniel
Ayala and Carson Diaz who won the All
Around.
Level 7 Team Wins National Judges Cup
The
level 7 Team won their session at the
National Judges Cup held in San Diego.
The girls put up an awesome performance
and came home with the first place
trophy. The level 8's placed fourth, the
level 9's and level 5's placed third,
and the level 6's placed second.
Congratulations to Nicole Steele,
Mackenzie Norstrom, Stacy Prendiville,
Hannah Stickney, Madeline Nilson,
Kaylynne Fuller, Bailey Walker, and
Kayla Shira all who won the all arounds
in their age groups.
Results
WA Places 2nd at the National Judges Cup

Team Washington placed second at the
National Judges Cup in San Diego. Auburn
Gymnastics had all 6 of the team members
on this team. Second place is the best
Washington has ever done in this
competition. All of the athletes did a
great job and hit 24 of 24 routines. All
of the girls also placed in the top 10
in the All Around competition. Congrats
to Team Washington!
Level 7 Team Wins Fall Invitational
The level 7 team competed at the Level 7
Invitational. All of the girls did a
great job in their first meet and came
home with the first place trophy.
Congratulations to Nicole Steele, Stacy
Prendiville, Kelsey Barrett, Randi
Schorzman and Sydney Hinton all who won
the all around in their ages groups. Six
girls also qualified to the level 7
state team that will represent
Washington at the National Judges Cup in
San Diego in January. Congratulations to
Nicole Steele, Stacy Prendiville, Kelsey
Barrett, Lizzy Reichlinger, Mackenzie
Norstrom and Maddison Ward.
